Remember Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory, and Mr Slugworth, the sleeze guy that everyone thought was trying to steal the Wonka trade secrets. Wonka pretested all the winning contestants to see who would be the most viable candidate to take over his business and not give up the family candy trade secrets.
