Why Not To Use Bleach In Your Jetted Tub
First and foremost, the easiest answer as to why NOT to use bleach in your Jetted Tub or Spa is the simple fact that bleach will eat away at the piping and jet rubber seals. Bleach is too harsh on gaskets, o-rings and seals and bleach is very corrosive to metals and rubber. Fixing pipe leaking problems in a Jetted Spa or tub is not what you want! Let me ask you this one question, do you use bleach to clean your sink plumbing? When your drain is clogged with bio waste, do you pour bleach into the drain? I did not think so. Bleach should not be used to clean out jetted tubs and spas for these reasons.
In a sink you can either take apart the pipes and clean the bio-waste, or you can use Drano (which is really a nasty chemical for the environment) or a bio-cleaning product that uses enzymes and good bacteria to eat and dissolve the bio-waste away. Whichever way you clean your clogged drain, you are not using bleach.
A jetted tub, jetted spa, jacuzzi, whirlpool tub or any spa like tub with jets, accumulates bio-waste in the 30 feet of pipes and it needs a spa cleaning product that will be able to efficiently clean these pipes, not cause corrosion, or reduce the effectiveness of the gaskets and seals. The Ahh-Some Jetted Spa Bio-Cleaner does just this; cleans the jetted tub pipes by using the combining forces of the high speed force of the jets, the bio-waste on the pipe inner lining and the Ahh-Some gel. The Ahh-Some Spa Bio-Cleaner needs to have a scraping effect on the walls of the pipes which is accomplished while the jets are running.
OK, just to prove that the Ahh-Some Jetted Spa Bio-Cleaner gel is quite effective, go ahead and clean out your jetted tub as good as can with bleach, until you are satisfied, and then re-clean it out with Ahh-Some Jetted Spa Bio-Cleaner. I will give you your money back if black flakes of bio-waste DON’T come out of the jets.
If you are completely unsatisfied that your jetted spa or tub is not cleaner after you use Ahh-Some Jetted Spa Bio-Cleaner gel, we will gladly refund your money back to you.

I have a question. We have a jacuzzi tub with jets that are trimmed with brass or gold (I don’t think it’s real gold) Our tub is a two person jacuzzi tub in our bathroom and we can’t find the literature on it. It has delta faucets with the same gold/brass. Is this product safe to use with these jets? I know bleach will damage them.
Thank you!
